My Bloggin Days...

Well, I tried to make a come back but it looks as if my bloggin days might be over. I know how aggrivating it is to take the time to check someones blog, only to find out another day of no new posts!

God has a plan for me and right now I am trying to find out what direction I am to turn. I have a few things going on and I would love your prayers. We are in a transition time in our business and making some major changes and I'm not dealing with that well. Also, my beautiful teenage daughter is really keeping me going! Not because she is misbehaving but because she is so active. I am choosing to support her in every endeavor she invovlves herself in and that is taking alot of my time but I love it. She is at an age where most teens don't want their parents around and she is at a point where she still loves me and confides in me. I don't want to do anything to change that.

I am going to start my photography classes and also considering going back to school to get my teaching degree. Just trying to weigh my options and figure out what is best for my family and our future. I have realized that I need to get my act together and do what is right for me!

I have enjoyed by blogging time and will still check back now and again. I love you all very much and maybe someday life will slow down and I can join you all again but until then.....

A good feeling!

So this week we have been swamped with Basketball games...2 games Saturday, 2 games Tuesday, 3 games Friday and 2 games yesterday! Needless to say we are ready for a break. The games were in Lexington yesterday so we stayed a while and made a day of it. Emma had a friend stay with us, we went to lunch then a little shopping then dinner. All in all a very good day with our teen daughter. On the way home, we were all just talking and singing and being silly and I heard my daughters frined say "I wish my parents were as cool as yours"! I have to admit that it brought a smile to my face and a good feeling to my heart. You always hear that the teen years are terrible but I have to say so far so good for us. I love that her friends are comfortable around us and that she doesn't mind us being around.

Well, we have 2 more games tomorrow (yes, even on a Holiday) so I'm off to clean this sad neglected home of mine! I hope you all are doing well!!!!!

My only creative project in FOREVER!

This is a paper bag album I did for one of my daughters friends for his birthday. Since I have 3 girls I found it very difficult to produce something non girly. This is my attempt at masculine. He and his family really liked it so that's all that matters.

I'm back! I hope!

I have missed blogging so much and I have been able to occasionally check everyones blog during my break. Above you will see the 4 amazing people that have consumed all my time! Between the Holidays, never ending Basketball games for Emma, A new photography class through New York Institute, A nasty Virus that attscked all of us, subbing for the school that I love, some work issues, and some health issues, I have had no time to myself!

I think the year 2009 I am going to focus on ME! I have realized that I don't give myself enough attention, I don't take enough time to make myself feel special. I have put myself LAST on my long list and I am gonna try to make some changes. Pray for me, I am feeling very stretched but I know my God is in control!

I hope to be able to post regularly again but you never know. Thanks for sticking with me and I love you all!

Mema turned 82 years old!

This is my husbands mema who just celebrated her 82nd birthday. We had a big party for her and I manged to get some really good pictures of the whole family so I decided to work on an album for her. This is the 1st page of the book since it's her children. I hope to work on it more this weekend and have something else to post.

I love placing ribbon this way

I think it is so elegant!

I am using the Simply Scrappin Kit "ROSE COTTAGE" from stampin up! This is just a cardstock sticker and I used the white uniball pen to detail.
