I scrap Too!

Here is a layout I did a while back of my sweet Rachel. I love black and white with a splash of color. Purple was chosen because it's her favorite color!

Here is my scrap space, where's yours...

Here is a look at my scrap space. I know it's cramped and crowded but it works for me. My dream would be to have a space the size of a master bedroom full of shelves and artwork to inspire me, but for now this will have to work.
I would love to see your scrapping place!

I was on a roll!

After making the other 2 last night I still had some time to kill and I was on a roll. So, here is what you get in 10 minutes. Not my favorite but not too bad.

Happy Birthday Mema!

Here is a card I made for my husbands mema. She is turning 83 this weekend and she is so precious to my family. I hope she likes it! Another design I saw on Split Coast Stamper Gallery. Of course I changed it up a bit to make it my own but I loved the idea.

Color Challenge

Here is my version of Lori's Color Challenge! I used Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, and Chocolate Chip but it's as close as I could get to her challenge. I heat embossed the White to make it stand out from the "Taken With Teal" ink. It's simple but I like it. I saw something similar on A gallery in Split Coast Stampers.

Happy Birthday Perri!

This is a birthday card I made for my Firend Perri. I love the colors together and I love her!

By the way, does this count towards Lori's color challenge? I think it's close enough!

Just add Recipe

How cute is this little cowboy? Now I just need a good
Recipe to add to make this perfect! Any Suggestions?

You Float My Boat!

Another project we did for our Stampin Club! I love how the
Cuttle Bug looks like waves in the water.

Stampin Club!

I just think these are so cute! These were projects from the stamp club I'm in and they are out of my element but too cute!

Just a couple of my favorites

This was my first time to use glitter and I think it make such a huge difference

This stamp set is one of my favorites! I really love the simplicity.

Fairy Nice

I was so excited to get this Stampin' Up Set "Fairy Nce"! I think it is such a cute little set and I am sure to use it a bunch with 3 girls! This is the first time using the set.

7th Anniversary!

Today is My 7th Annivaersary to my Husband Russ! We agreed to not buy a gift for one another and spend some quality time together instead. We also agreed to write a meaningful letter to each other. Here is my letter to Russ and of course I had to make a "List" of some of the things I Love about him.

Lori's Color challenge

Lori of ByLoriDesigns gave us a "Color Challenge" a while back and this is what I came up with! The challenge was to use a color that we don't like much which is "Glorious Green" She suggested using Pixie Pink and Certainly Celery along with it.
Well, as you see only one of mine has the Challenging color in it. I decided that I really don't like it and can't make it look good. I know, I'm a bad challenge person but I will try to do better next time.

Clipboard fun!

A funny Story about this Clipboard we made at the Mops meeting. I didn't actually do my project at the meeting because I was helping Lori get the things punched out, so I brought mine home. I did put it together that afternoon at my office but it never dawned on me to post it. So, this morning I checked my beautiful friend lori (Bylori Designs) blog and saw that we did ours almost exactly the same. All the way down to the inking around the sides and the ribbon on top! I always knew great minds thought alike!

Thank you Lori for a great project!

WOW, What a Day

Today was very interesting to me! Our business sold Skate Board Equipment to the City of Somerset to build a new Skate Park and today was the install. The deal was that the skate boarders were to help with the install to save money and they did show up and most of them helped. My oldest daughter (Emma) and I also went to help this morning.

The interesting part of the day was how many boys with their underwear showing, how many "F" words were slung, how lazy they were and how ungrateful they were. The amazing part was when I fussed at a couple of the boys about their language they acted like I was crazy to be offended. I told them that it was really disrespectful to speak that way in front of girls and their response was"REALLY?" That is so sad to me that they haven't been taught to respect women.

I feel an urge to pray for the young men of this generation! Our young women should never have to put up with that type of laziness and crude behavior! For those of you with boys, I pray that they will be might young men with character, Integrity, and High Moral Value!

another fun day at school

Not much to post about except that I got to spend the day at my daughters school. I just really love it there and feel so blessed that my children have the opportunity to attend such a great place.

I have had a couple of crummy, self pitty filled days lately but things are looking up. I know that my God has a plan and that I need to learn to lean on Him and stop trying to fix it. Thank you to those of you who have been praying for me, please don't stop cause I need all I can get.

I love you guys in the blogger world!!

The New Me (Hair anyway)

As some of you may know, Sunday evening is when I get together with 2 of my most favorite people and we scrap. Well, this Sunday, I got a new "do" courtesy of Lori Boyd! Bet you didn't know this girl was talented in hair too. Anyway, here are the before and after pics.

Needless to say, I didn't get much scrapping done. It was a great time anyway. I guess I will have to make up for it next week! I am itching to use all my new stuff.
